VBOX3i - Dual Antenna (VB3iSL)Slip Angle measurement has never been as accurate!VBOX 3i Dual Antenna (VB3iSL) is Racelogic’s most powerful GPS data logging system. By utilising two GPS + GLONASS engines configured in a ‘fixed baseline RTK setup’, the VB3iSL combines high level accuracy and test repeatability with the ability to measure slip and pitch/roll angles at 100Hz. The data can be shown live (using a USB/RS232 serial connection) and be logged to compact flash card for easy transfer to PC.
The VB3iSL includes 4 high-resolution analogue input channels to record data from external sensors and 2 CAN bus interfaces to allow connection of Racelogic input modules while simultaneously transmitting GPS data on the second CAN bus. VB3iSL is compatible with all existing peripherals including Multifunction Display, 16bit Analogue Input, 4 Channel Frequency Input Module, 8 Channel Thermocouple Interface and Yaw Rate Sensor. Included within the VBOX3i Dual Antenna package is VBOX Manager, which enables you to view and change dynamic modes and filter settings, show real time graphs of speed against time, setup slip angle data and calculate antenna locations. VBOX3i 100Hz with 2cm RTKThe VBOX3i is the pinnacle of the VBOX range. A very powerful processor ensures low latency with updates of speed, position and acceleration, 100 times a second. The RTK option for VBOX3i gives ±2cm position accuracy by receiving corrections from an RTK differential Base Station and by using the Russian GLONASS range of satellites as secondary observations. The amazing positional accuracy is useful for a number of tests including track mapping, gradient measurement, brake testing, ADAS calibration and verification, precise driver line analysis, side winds susceptibility, drive-by noise measurement, development of active cruise control and self parking systems. VBOX 3i 100HzThe VBOX 3i 100Hz has a very powerful processor ensuring low latency with updates of speed, position and acceleration, 100 times a second. In addition, there are four high resolution analogue inputs and 32 channels of external CAN. A variety of Racelogic input modules are compatible with this product. The VBOX 3i has Bluetooth, USB and Serial connectivity and all data is logged to a compact flash card. A supplied microphone allows simultaneous voice tagging alongside the GPS data. By connecting the VBOX 3i to the Racelogic Inertial Measurement Unit, a real time Kalman Filter will correct the GPS in areas of poor GPS reception, and will output Pitch, Roll and Yaw values at 100Hz. VBOX IISX (VB2SX)Available with an update rate of 20, 10 or 5 times a second, the VBOX IISX features a built in display, SD card logging, high speed brake trigger input, CAN interface and two sets of analogue and digital outputs. Connection to a PC is made via a USB or serial interface. If you don’t want to use a Base Station, then the VBOX IISX range of GPS data-loggers gives the highest ‘Stand alone’ positional accuracy of our range, utilising the free WAAS/EGNOS correction service to give <1m positioning. VBOX IISX – Dual Antenna (VB2SL)The Dual Antenna version of the VBOX IISX has all of the same features as the single antenna version, but contains a second GPS engine. By utilising two GPS engines configured in a ‘fixed baseline RTK setup’, extra parameters can be measured which are not normally available from a single point GPS setup. By utilising all of three GPS engines configured in a ‘fixed baseline RTK setup’, extra parameters can be measured which are not normally available from a single point GPS setup.
